Bilastine is a novel new-generation antihistamine that is highly selective for the H1 histamine receptor, has a rapid onset and prolonged duration of action. It is an antiallergic agent whose main mechanism of action is the inhibition of immune system reactions mediated by the interaction of histamine on its H1- receptor.
Bilaset 40 is an antihistamine that is used in Refractory Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria ,to relieve the symptoms of allergic rhino conjunctivitis (sneezing, itchy nose, nasal secretion, nasal congestion and red, streaming eyes) and other forms of allergic rhinitis.
