Composition:
Carbetocin 100mcg/ml
Carbiact Injection should be given for active management of 3rd stage of labour. Carbiact Injection helps control excessive bleeding post delivery. This helps prevent severe loss of blood that can lead to drop in blood pressure, shock, and even death if not controlled in time. This drug helps with the proper contraction of the uterus, and therefore, prevents hemorrhage and further complications. Carbiact Injection is given IV/IM injection by a doctor or a nurse. You should not self-administer this medicine at home.
