Alphapod CV 200 Tablets contain Cefpodoxime Proxetil 200 mg and Clavulanic Acid 125 mg, a combination antibiotic used to treat respiratory tract infections caused by susceptible bacteria. Cefpodoxime kills bacteria by preventing the formation of their protective cell wall, while Clavulanic Acid blocks bacterial resistance mechanisms, enhancing the effectiveness of the antibiotic. This combination helps eliminate infection and prevents the further growth and spread of bacteria.
