About Bilaset M Tablets

Bilaset M Tablets contains Bilastine 20 mg and Montelukast 10 mg, a combination of an antihistamine and a leukotriene receptor antagonist used for the treatment of allergic rhinitis and other allergic conditions. Bilastine blocks the action of histamine, a chemical responsible for allergy symptoms such as sneezing, itching, runny nose, watery eyes, and skin irritation. Montelukast blocks leukotrienes, inflammatory substances that contribute to nasal congestion and airway inflammation. Together, they provide effective and long-lasting relief from allergy symptoms while improving breathing and overall comfort

Usage Instructions

  • Take Bilaset M Tablets exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
  • It should be taken once daily on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals, as food may reduce the absorption and effectiveness of Bilastine.
  • Take the medicine at the same time each day for optimal results.
  • Do not skip doses or stop treatment without consulting your doctor, even if symptoms improve.
  • Along with medication, avoid known allergens, maintain a clean environment, and stay well hydrated to help control allergy symptoms.

  • Alcohol:

  • Mental Health:
  • Montelukast has been associated with rare mood or behavioral changes, including agitation, anxiety, depression, sleep disturbances, and suicidal thoughts. Inform your doctor immediately if you or your family notice any unusual changes in mood or behavior.
  • Allergy Testing:
  • Stop taking Bilaset M at least 3 days before undergoing an allergy skin test, as it may affect the test results.
  • Common Side Effects:
  • Sleepiness, headache, abdominal pain, sore throat, cough, diarrhea, fever, runny nose, upper respiratory tract infection, allergic conjunctivitis, sinus inflammation, influenza, and ear infection (otitis media). Seek medical attention if side effects become severe or if signs of an allergic reaction occur.

    How to Use

  • Swallow Bilaset M Tablets whole with water.
  • Do not crush, chew, or break the Tablets.
  • Take it on an empty stomach, preferably at the same time every day.
