Pregnancy:
Borit SB 130 Capsules is not recommended during pregnancy unless clearly advised by your doctor, as it may harm the developing baby. Women of childbearing potential should use effective contraception during treatment and until advised by their doctor after completing therapy.
Breastfeeding:
Use with caution while breastfeeding and only under medical supervision.
Liver Disorders:
Itraconazole may affect liver function. Your doctor may perform liver function tests before and during treatment, especially if therapy is prolonged. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, pale stools, persistent nausea, severe abdominal pain, or unusual fatigue.
Kidney Disorders:
Use with caution in patients with kidney disease; dose adjustment may be required.
Heart Disease:
Inform your doctor if you have a history of heart failure or other heart conditions, as itraconazole may worsen heart failure in susceptible individuals.
Drug Interactions:
Itraconazole interacts with many medicines, including certain cholesterol-lowering drugs, heart medicines, anticoagulants, antiepileptics, and other antifungals. Inform your doctor about all medicines, supplements, and herbal products you are taking.
Alcohol:
Avoid or limit alcohol consumption, as it may increase the risk of liver problems.
Driving:
If you experience dizziness or visual disturbances, avoid driving or operating machinery.
Common Side Effects:
Headache, nausea, abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, indigestion, and dizziness. Seek immediate medical attention if you develop severe allergic reactions, hearing changes, numbness or tingling, severe skin rash, or signs of liver injury.
