It is used to treat various types of cancers such as ovarian cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, breast cancer, and bladder cancer. Cancer is the uninhibited and uncontrolled growth of cells in the body.
It contains gemcitabine as its main component, which works by interfering with the synthesis of DNA, thereby causing cell death and arresting the uncontrolled production of new cells. Thus, Gemtero 200 mg Injection helps control cancer cells from multiplying.
Gemtero 200 mg Injection is a chemotherapy medication administered by healthcare professionals such as doctors or nurses. It should not be self-administered.

Gemtero 200mg injection causes extreme drowsiness when taken with alcohol. As such, it is not recommended to consume alcohol or drive while taking this medicine.
This medication is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding because of fatal risks based on animal studies.
Gemtero 200mg injection should be used with caution in case of high risk or precious history of heart disease, vascular disease, liver problem, kidney disease or alcoholism.
