About Gocan 150Mg Tablet

The main component of Gocan 150 mg Tablets is Fluconazole which is synthetic triazole broad spectrum antifungal agent. It inhibits 14-alpha-sterol-demethylase enzyme and hence blocks synthesis of ergosterol an important component of fungal cell membrane. Hence, the fungi stop multiplying or die because of non-formation of complete cell membrane. Although it is not effective against bacteria or virus, it is used in the treatment of various infections affecting your skin, lungs, mouth, throat, meninges, etc.

Gocan 150 mg Tablets offers convenient “internal” solution for persistent fungal issues that topical creams may not fully reach. Most notable treatment provided by this medicine is vaginal yeast infections wherein a single tablet is all that is required. Your doctor will determine the necessary dose and duration of the medicine based on your condition. Stopping the treatment too early can cause the infection to return.

There are few common side effects of this medicine including stomach pain, vomiting, diarrhoea, rash, headache, and nausea.
