About Maball RA 100mg Rituximab Injection for RA & Lymphoma Care

Maball-RA 100 Solution for Infusion contains Rituximab 100 mg, a monoclonal antibody that selectively targets CD20-positive B lymphocytes (B cells). It is indicated for the treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL), Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL), Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis (GPA), and Microscopic Polyangiitis (MPA). Rituximab works by destroying abnormal or overactive B cells involved in autoimmune diseases and certain blood cancers, helping reduce inflammation, control disease progression, and improve clinical outcomes. Maball-RA 100 should be administered only under the supervision of an experienced healthcare professional.

Usage Instructions

  • Maball-RA 100 Solution for Infusion should be administered only by a qualified healthcare professional in a hospital or infusion centre.
  • The dose, infusion schedule, and duration of treatment depend on the medical condition, body size, and individual response to therapy.
  • Premedication with antihistamines, corticosteroids, and/or antipyretics may be given before the infusion to reduce the risk of infusion-related reactions.
  • Regular monitoring of blood counts, liver function, kidney function, and Hepatitis B screening is recommended before and during treatment.
  • Do not miss scheduled infusion appointments or discontinue treatment without your doctor's advice.

  • Benefits and Use

  • Maball-RA 100 Solution for Infusion is used in the treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis, Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis, and Microscopic Polyangiitis.
  • Rituximab selectively targets CD20-positive B cells, helping reduce abnormal immune activity in autoimmune diseases and destroy cancerous B cells in certain blood cancers.
  • This helps relieve inflammation, reduce pain and swelling, slow disease progression, improve immune-mediated conditions, and enhance overall treatment outcomes when used under specialist supervision.

  • Safety Information

  • Pregnancy:
  • Rituximab is not recommended during pregnancy unless the expected benefits outweigh the potential risks. Effective contraception should be used during treatment and for the period advised by your doctor after the last dose.
  • Breastfeeding:
  • Breastfeeding should generally be avoided during treatment and until the medicine has been adequately cleared from the body, as advised by your physician.
  • Infection Risk:
  • Maball-RA may reduce the body's ability to fight infections. Contact your doctor immediately if you develop fever, sore throat, persistent cough, rash, or any signs of infection.
  • Hepatitis B:
  • Screening for Hepatitis B virus (HBV) is recommended before treatment because Rituximab may reactivate previous HBV infection.
  • Kidney & Liver Disorders:
  • Use with caution in patients with kidney or liver disease under close medical supervision.
  • Vaccinations:
  • Inform your doctor before receiving any vaccinations, as certain vaccines may not be suitable during treatment.
  • Heart Conditions:
  • Tell your doctor if you have heart disease or abnormal heart rhythms before receiving the infusion.
  • Driving:
  • If you experience dizziness, weakness, or infusion-related reactions, avoid driving or operating machinery until you recover.
  • Inform your healthcare provider about all medicines you are taking before starting therapy.
