About Ofax 200Mg Tablet

Ofax 200 mg Tablets contains Ofloxacin 200 mg, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic formulated by Hetero Healthcare Pvt Ltd. It works by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase, an enzyme bacteria need for DNA replication and repair, which stops bacterial growth and ultimately destroys the organism. Ofax 200 mg Tablets is prescribed for bacterial infections of the urinary tract and reproductive organs, including chronic bronchitis exacerbations, pneumonia, and gonorrhoea.

  • Ofax 200 mg should be taken exactly as prescribed by your physician, in the dose and duration advised for your specific infection.
