About Orib 120 Tablets

Orib 120 Tablets is an anticancer medicine which contains sorafenib Tosylate. It is prescribed in the treatment of certain types of liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma), advanced kidney cancer (renal cell carcinoma), and advanced thyroid cancer that no longer responds to radioactive iodine treatment. This medicine works by slowing the growth and spread of cancer cells while reducing the formation of new blood vessels that supply tumours.

There are certain side effects of Orib 120 Tablets which usually subside on their own include diarrhoea, weakness, vomiting, nausea, etc. If these side effects persist or bother you, consult your healthcare provider. It is important to inform your doctor about your complete medical history before starting this medicine.

Usage Instructions

  • Orib 120 Tablets is administered orally in the exact dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor either with or without food.
  • Take it at the same time every day for better remembrance and optimal results, do not overdose.
  • Continue the medicine unless your doctor asks you to stop.
  • Do not discontinue this Tablets without consulting your doctor as it may cause the symptoms to return or worsen.

    How to Use

  • Orib 120 Tablets is taken orally and should be taken as directed by your oncologist without food at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal.
  • Swallow this medicine whole with a glass of water and avoid crushing, breaking, or chewing it.
  • Only consume the prescribed amount of medicine, do not overdose.
  • Take it at the same time every day for optimal result and to help you remember your dose.
  • If you miss a dose, take it only if there is enough time before your next scheduled dose.
  • Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
