Qulef I.V Infusion contains Levofloxacin 500 mg/100 ml Infusion IP, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections. It is commonly prescribed for infections of the lungs (pneumonia), urinary tract, skin and soft tissues, nose, throat, and other susceptible bacterial infections.   • Liver Disease: Limited information is available in patients with liver disease. Stop the medicine and seek medical advice immediately if you develop yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, or severe abdominal pain.
  • Driving: This medicine may cause dizziness, drowsiness, blurred vision, or reduced alertness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.
  • Tendon Injury: Levofloxacin may rarely cause tendon inflammation or tendon rupture, particularly in older adults or patients taking corticosteroids. Stop treatment and contact your doctor immediately if you experience tendon pain, swelling, or difficulty moving a joint.
  • Diarrhea: Antibiotic-associated diarrhea may occur. Inform your doctor immediately if diarrhea is severe, persistent, or contains blood.
