PENVIR is a brand of antiviral nucleoside Famciclovir with analog Penciclovir. Penciclovir is a highly selective antiviral with a prolonged action against Herpes infection. PenvirĀ belongs to Anti Virals therapy of KRIS Division and it is available in 2 forms: Penvir 250Mg Tablet and Penvir 500Mg Tablet.

PENVIR (Famciclovir) is safe and can be given even in 1st trimester of pregnancy with no abnormalities reported.

Unless you are allergic to Famciclovir, PENVIR (Famciclovir) has no major side-effects. It can be given to renal failure patients or immune-compromised patients also.
